When Valerie, founder of ValiSkin, came to me, her online presence was limited to a simple booking link. While it allowed clients to schedule appointments, it wasn’t positioning her brand, showcasing her services, or creating opportunities for product sales. Without e-commerce, her earning potential was capped, and her business wasn’t being represented at the level she envisioned.
The Challenge
Without a website, ValiSkin didn’t have a central place to share its story, highlight treatments, or sell retail products. Potential clients couldn’t get a full sense of the experience Valerie offers, and returning clients had no easy way to purchase products online—limiting growth opportunities and leaving revenue on the table. On top of that, Valerie didn’t consider herself “tech-savvy,” so she was worried about how she would keep up with a website once it was built.
The Process
We built ValiSkin’s very first website on Squarespace, focusing on clarity, client experience, and long-term usability:
- Strategic structure: Created a clear flow that introduced the brand, highlighted services, and guided clients toward booking.
- Service spotlight: Built dedicated treatment pages, including an in-depth page for Hydrafacial, to educate and convert visitors into bookings.
- E-commerce setup: Integrated a streamlined online shop through Squarespace so Valerie could finally sell retail products, unlocking new revenue potential.
- Elevated design: Since her treatment room featured bold pinks, blues, and blacks, we built her brand color palette around those tones. This tied her website directly to her in-person experience and allowed us to showcase her brand photography seamlessly.

Squarespace was the perfect platform for ValiSkin’s first full website. Its seamless e-commerce tools made selling and shipping products simple, while its intuitive dashboard gave Valerie the ability to make updates on her own. What started as a fear of technology turned into empowerment—Valerie is now confidently managing her shop and shipping orders left and right, all on her own!
The Result
ValiSkin went from having only a booking link to a fully branded, strategic online home. Valerie now has a website that doesn’t just process appointments—it positions her as an expert, beautifully showcases her services, and creates a profitable retail channel. Most importantly, it gave her the tools and confidence to run her online business independently.
